“As I head into my 82nd year, I look back over 45 yrs of creating photographs, alcohol inks, and acrylics and find a joy increasing every year.”

Years ago, I lived in the East Bay of San Francisco in a tiny and unique town called Moraga. These were some of the most remarkable times in my life.

One of the reasons was Buck.

Buck was a gentle giant who was stabled behind an amazing fruit and vegetable stand where I worked. Buck and I had a strong bond because at the end of each day, I would leave work and head across the path to visit Buck. I would bring him all the unsold fruits and vegetables and this image of Buck shows you how he greeted me and my goodies.

He was a wonderful friend and he will always be in my memories. I still smile at the thought of him. He was a real special horse.
